Sweden take on Scandinavian rivals Denmark in a game tht is vital for both in the World Cup Qualifiers. Denmark are currently top with 13 points while Sweden are currently in 4th with 6 points but have 2 games in hand.
Denmark will be tough opposition for Sweden especially after such a long hard season. But Denmark will be confident of getting a result on Saturday in the Råsunda stadion. Thomas Sørensen has been in good form with Stoke City helping them stay in the Premier league and he will need something special to beat him on his day. Daniel Agger is a tough defender who if invited can hit a shot from distance as we have seen for Liverpool in the past 2 years. Simon Kjær is an unknown that has been playing well for Palermo in Serie A.
But Sweden will have to watch out in the midfield. Denmark have some decent players in the area of the pitch such as Christian Poulsen in the centre and the pace of Dennis Rommedahl on thw wing. Jesper Grønkjær is experienced aswell and will be a treat.
But up-front Denmark are maybe not as strong. Nicklas Bendtner hasn't had a fantastic season but is still a danger to the Swedish defense. Morten Nordstrand will be another to watch out for.
