IFK Goteborg have it all to do ahead of next week's 2nd leg in Israel, having been beaten 3-1 at the Gamla Ullevi.
It started well for the hosts when Tobias Hycén gave them a 21st minute lead. But IFK disasterous final 20 minutes cost IFK. Etey Shechter levelled for Hapoel on 73 minutes before Samuel Yeboah made it 2-1 5 minutes later. It looked as if it was going to stay at 2-1 until Bebars Natcho made it 3-1 4 minutes into added time to make IFK's task much harder next week in the intimidating atmosphere of Tel-Aviv.
