Allsvenskan Round 28 Preview

Monday 27th October 2008:
Monday sees 3 games take place with the big relegation six-pointer at Sundsvall. GIF Sundsvall take on bottom side IFK Norrköping with 3 vital points at stake. Neither side will want to lose. Sundsvall on 19 points going into tonight's game are the slight favourites but dont rule out IFK Norrköping from adding 3 more points to their current 17.
Ljungskile take on Malmö with a win needed to level on points with Gefle who are just out of the relegation play-off place. A win for Ljungskile will relegate IFK Norrköping even if IFK win tonight. Malmö will want to see the season over after such a terrible season which saw them at one point part of the relegation dog-fight.
In the final game on Monday AIK host in form Örebro at 19:00pm with nothing at stake both sides can take it as little easy. Former Örebro player Kevin Walker should start while Örebro will field a strong line-up.

Tuesday 28th October 2008:
Only 1 game on Tuesday as GAIS host Helsingborgs in what should be an easy win for Helsingborgs. Both sides have nothing to play for except pride and GAIS, after Friday's defeat to Örebro will be up for this game.

Wednesday 29th October 2008:
Wednesday is a busy night with 4 matches schduled with Kalmar looking to secured the title if they can beat Gelfe and Elfsborg lose. Gefle will be eager to beat Kalmar as a win will secure Gefle of Allsvenskan football for 2009. Kalmar need the win to go a step closer to the title.
Hammarby face Halmstads in a match the Stockholm side will want to win to banish memories of that 3-0 loss against Gefle.
Elfsborg need a win against Djurgården to keep them in with a shout in the title race. With just 2 games left after this round Elfsborg will know nothing but a win will secure Kalmar with the title.
The final game sees Trelleborgs take on IFK Göteborg at home. IFK Göteborg buyoed by the 5-2 win over Elfsborg on Sunday will like another 3 points here.
