AIK 2-0 Djurgården 28th September 2009

AIK continued theirquest for the title after defeating struggling Djurgården. AIK are now in with a huge shoot of the title but will need to keep winning in what is becoming the tightest title race in years. Djurgården themselves could do with wins as they are in real danger of relegation. Antônio Flávio opened the scoring after 15 minutes which Djurgården had chances. The Brazilian has become a match winner since arriving on the scene during the summer and got a 2nd goal of the game just shy of hour mark.
