Djurgården 2-1 Örgryte 24th October 2009

Needless to say this was possibly the biggest win of the season for Djurgården. Not only were Örgryte in good form recently but Djurgården have a chance of having a 2nd chance by nabbing that play-off spot. With Hammarby playing title chasing AIK on Sunday this was a vital game for both sides. It was the hosts who struck first through former Örebro defender Patrik Haginge. That goal was to be the highlight of Haginge's mixed afternoon. 53 minutes played and Örgryte were level through Alexander Mellqvist. Then the controversy started as Patrik Haginge was sent-off on 55 minutes. Hrvoje Milic converted a penalty and was then promptly sent-off as Djurgården faced a battle to hold onto their lead.
