Elfsborg are effectively out of the title after this result which leaves them six points off AIK with two games left. They got a lucky break on 23 minutes when Mattias Östberg put through his own net. Elfsborg would've taken a 1-0 win to stay in the title race but Marcus Jarlegren popped up in added time to dash the title hopes of Elfsborg and keep BK Häcken in with a shout of a Europa League place. They are three points off 4th spot with two games to go.
