IFK Göteborg went top for at least 24 hours after they made light work of IF Brommapojkarna at the Grimsta IP in front of 3,822 fans. A goalless first-half appeared to put the pressure right on the title chasing side and came out for the 2nd half with a work-man-like performance. Tobias Hysén opened the scoring just four minutes into the 2nd half and from there, there was going to be only one winner. IFK Göteborg produced a four minute spree that included three goals in the reverse fixture back in May but this time they managed two in three minutes. Niclas Alexandersson, who came out of retirement a few weeks ago made it 2-0 on 80 minutes and just minutes later Alexandersson teed up Hysén for his 2nd and a 3-0 win.
