One of the surprise packages of the season BK Häcken recorded a vital 2-0 win over bottom club Örgryte. A Göteborg derby this one and it was BK Häcken who took the bragging rights here. It started after Örgryte had defender David Leinar sent-off on 28 minutes. That sending off appeared to give BK Häcken the advantage. Things turned even worse for the bottom side when former Aston Villa striker Marcus Allbäck was sent-off for a 2nd yellow card in four minutes. John Chibuike then gave BK Häcken the lead on 79 minutes after some great moves in midfield. Five minutes later the game was over as a contest for the nine men of Örgryte, as Jonas Bjurström got the 2nd goal on 84 minutes.
