Kalmar will be disappointed with this result as they had chances to take something to Moldova for the return leg. A game that produced a couple of chances for both sides ended in a stalemate which will suit Dacia more.

Dacia had a big chance in the 61st minute when a free-kick fell to Iulian Bursuc but he scuffed his effort. Kalmar had a couple of dangerous chances with forcing Dacia stopper Eugen Matiughin into a good save late on in the game.

Nanne Bergstrand's men have a job to do in Moldova next week which won't be easy on this evidence.
