Svenska Cupen Last 16

IFK Göteborg 3-4 Kalmar: Sunday bought IFK Göteborg and Kalmar together and they didn't disappoint. They ended up playing out a 4-3 thriller with Kalmar advancing to the last 8. It was Kalmar who struck first when Ricardo Santos lashed through. IFK were level though just minutes later thanks to a strike from Tobias Hysén. Two minutes later and Kalmar regained the lead through Erik Israelsson and that lead was doubled when Ricardo Santos tucked away his 2nd of the game. Tobias Sana was sent-off as IFK looked to get back into the game. They made it 3-2 when Icelander Theodór Bjarnason found the net on 77 minutes. Just when time was running out IFK forced extra-time when Jakob Johansson scored in injury time. Kalmar were to have the last laugh as they struck in the 118th minute to dash the hopes of IFK as Marcel Sacramento's goal put Kalmar through.

Ljungskile 0-1 Gefle: Gefle are through to the quarter-finals after a narrow 1-0 win over Suprettan side Ljungskile. Playing in front of a sparse crowd the game wasn't a classic but did have a crucial goal that took Gefle through. That goal arrived in the 69th minute thanks to Alexander Gerndt. Gefle are safely through.
