Djurgården ended up losing this game at home to Malmo despite taking an early lead. The problems are mounting for the Swedish giants. Malmö meanwhile can breathe a bit easier after this result. Christer Youssef fired Djurgården in front after 21 minutes which seemed like getting Djurgården their first victory since the 5th of July. Edward Ofere leveled on 39 minutes to silence the hopeful home support. That man Ofere again popped up to give the visitors the lead on 56 minutes, as Djurgården's spirit ebbed away. Djurgården's night wasn't finished, defender Jan Tauer was sent-off with fifteen minutes from time. This victory a much needed one for Malmö while Djurgården without question need points and quickly.
