Fresh from beating Hungary 2-1 away on Saturday, Sweden will be looking to make it six points from six when they travel to Malta in search of the victory.
A 4-0 success in June wasn't as convinceing as the scoreline suggests. Sweden were very careless in that game and also four days previously against Denmark. Tomorrow night though Sweden have the chance to bounce back into contension in a tight group.
Malta haven't played since that 4-0 defeat by Sweden on June 10th and are bottom of Group 1 with a solidary point from eight games. Michael Mifsud is the key player for Malta, the striker released by Coventry during the summer will be keen to spoil the party for Sweden.
With Denmark currently in 1st place with 17 points, Sweden are fighting with Hungary and Portugal for a play-off place that could be the next step towards South Africa next summer.
