Kalmar 1-3 Örebro 20th September 2009

Champions Kalmar were looking for a win at home to Örebro to push on with the quest to retain the title, but they suffered a defeat which has allowed their rivals to take control of the title race. Kim Olsen, who scored here and was sent-off in the same game last year opened the scoring on 9 minutes before getting his 2nd on 24 minutes to put the visitors into a 2-0 lead. Ricardo Santos pulled one back for Kalmar on 32 minutes to add some nerves into the game. But anyway nerves and doubters about the result were silenced when Marcus Astvald made it 3-1 with twenty minutes remaining. Örebro are up to 5th just a point behind 4th place.
