Halmstads 2-1 Helsingborgs 19th September 2009

Halmstads finally ended their recent bad form after they defeated title hopefuls Helsingborgs. Halmstads had been slipped ever closer to the drop zone but have moved slightly away after this result. Michael Görlitz gave the home side the lead after 29 minutes. Helsingborgs introduced veteran Henrik Larsson at the break but that didn't prevent Helsingborgs from going 2-0 down. Anselmo, who has had a difficult season made it 2-0 on 49 minutes. Helsingborgs pulled one back on 64 minutes through Marcus Lantz, bought on at half-time. Helsingborgs lose ground at the top.
