Whoever does come in will have to build a new side after it was announced earlier this month that Emir Kujovic was joining Kayserispor in Turkey. Kujovic joins Per Johansson and Dutchman Alexander Prent through the exit doors at the Orjans Vall.

Ajdarevic leaves Orebro

Orebro have been dealt a big blow ahead of their Europa League campaign next summer with the news that midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic has left the club. Ajdarevic, who only signed for the club in July was one of the key players that secured the club European football for next season. The former Liverpool academy player was attracting interest from Malmo and others.
On Friday Ajdarevic signed a 4-year contract with Allsvenskan newcomers IFK Norrkoping. The signing is a major boost for IFK as they prepare for their first Allsvenskan season since 2008.

GIF Sundsvall 0-1 Gefle 10th November 2010

Gefle will take a 1-0 lead back with them for Sunday's 2nd leg after they scraped victory in Sundsvall.
The goal on the night came from Jakob Orlov who continues his impressive season and saved Gefle yet again. GIF Sundsvall who missed out on automatic promotion played well for periods and did have chances. It was a scrapy affair that featured just the one Orlov strike but the tie is finely poised going into Sunday.

Malmo are the 2010 Allsvenskan champions after they did what was needed and beat Mjallby while Helsingborgs could only draw with Kalmar.
Jiloan Hamad put the champaigne on ice when he broke the deadlock on 17 minutes and the stadium erupted when Agon Mehmeti capped off his best season so far with a 2nd goal on the half-time whistle.
Mjallby were no match as the new champions played like champions and ended up with 67 points in the final table. That total is the highest amount of points by an Allsvenskan side since the 16-team format was abopted at the end of the 2007 season.

Helsingborgs 0-0 Kalmar 7th November 2010

It came down to the final day and it was a must game for Helsingborgs. Instead they had to settle for 2nd place after they couldn't find a way past an organised Kalmar side. Kalmar who themselves were champions just two years ago shut-up shop to frustrate Helsingborgs. As it turned out it wouldn't of mattered if Helsingborgs put nine past Kalmar they still needed Malmo to drop points. Instead it was Helsingborg who dropped the points as Malmo were victorious to claim the title and the champions league place that went with it.
They can look at the positives in which Alexander Gerdnt won the golden boot with his inpressive 20 goals which he got with Gefle and Helsingborgs.

Elfsborg 1-0 GAIS 7th November 2010

Elfsborg finally secured 4th place as a Martin Andersson goal won the game for Elfsborg. GAIS though we good at times but unlucky not to come away from the Boras Arena with a point to end their season.
Elfsborg a disappointing season that promised much while GAIS a season that was up and down and will hope for better next season.

Trelleborgs 1-0 Orebro 7th November 2010

Trelleborgs ended the season with four staight wins as they reached 5th place to cap a fantastic season for the club. They ended with a 1-0 win over Europa League bound Orebro as their opponents took it easy it appeared after Europe was confirmed. Trelleborgs deserve credit for they way they went about securing their highest league position as a Joakim Sjohage goal four minutes from time won the game for Trelleborgs.
The game was also a special one for Bertin Zé Ndille as he played his final game for Orebro before his departure in this winter. The fans' favourite played well and will be missed. A great achievment for Trelleborgs considering their start to the season.

BK Hacken 5-0 IF Brommpojkarna 7th November 2010

IF Brommpojkarna's two year stay in the top flight finally came to an end as they collapsed against BK Hacken.
BK Hacken whos season has been up and down certainly ended on a high as they ran out 5-0 winners over their relegated opponents. John Chibuike was the star of the first half as he opened the scoring on 7 minutes. Five minutes later he was celebrating his 2nd as he made it 2-0.
Mikkel Jensen was the unfortunate one to make it 3-0 as his own goal ended the hopes of getting something out of the game for IF Brommapojkarna.

Djurgarden 0-2 Halmstads 7th November 2010

With Europe gone Djurgarden had nothing really to play for. Halmstads were also safe from the drop. A dead rubber game but a game that Halmstads took to their advantage.
Michael Gorlitz put them in front on 42 minutes which delighted the band of away fans in the Stadion.
Those fans were singing again when Joe Sise made it 2-0 on 66 minutes and ended the game as a contest against a Djurgarden side that were just playing out the minutes in a disappointing season but improvement from last year.

IFK Goteborg 2-2 Gefle 7th November 2010

Gefle managed to force themselves into this week's relegation play-off after they came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 and ultimately saved themselves for a week at least.
IFK took a 13th minute lead through Adam Johansson which made Gefle nervy before Tobias Sana made it 2-0 seven minutes later with a superb strike from outside the area.
Gefle kept on beleiving and it was evident especially in the 2nd half as they got down on played. Jakob Orlov who has saved Gefle so many times this season pulled them back into the game on 55 minutes.
Up until three minutes from time Gefle were going to be relegated. That was until Dragan Kapcevic levelled. The final whistle saw Gefle get the news that Atvidabergs only drew which meant Gefle were given a 2nd chance to avoid going down.

Atvidabergs 1-1 AIK 7th November 2010

As it turned out it wasn't enough for Atvidabergs. With Gefle earning a point away to IFK, Atvidabergs went down by vitue of goal difference. The game itself was either way was AIK took the lead on 47 minutes thanks to Goran Ljubojevic. The Croat who joined the club earlier this year finishing his season on a high.

Sirius 0-1 Jonkoping Sodra:

IF Brommapojkarna 0-4 Malmo 1st November 2010

IF Brommapojkarna are very much down after this result which helped Malmo go into the final day with advantage of goal difference.
In fairness Malmo were clinical which IF Brommapojkarna had no answer to. They did keep them out until the hour mark when Jeffery Aubynn broke the deadlock before Agon Mehmeti made it 2-0 and safe on 79 minutes. Dardan Rexhapi, getting some good reviews recently made it 3-0 on 83 minutes after coming off the bench before Daniel Andersson put a bit of gloss on the score with a fourth which all but sends Brommapojkarna down. Malmo the favourites for the title now after this result.

Orebro 2-1 IFK Goteborg 1st November 2010

Orebro's European place for next year has already been decided but this win meant they will finish way in front of the chasing pact in 3rd place but still quiet a bit behind the title chasers Malmo and Helsingborgs. This defeat for IFK ends their hopes of reaching the Europa League for next season.
Astrit Ajdarevic, another player who is a contendor for signing of the season put Orebro in front after 65 minutes. Ajdarevic has recently been linked with a move to Malmo so this goal will just up the speculation.
Nordin Gerzic put the game beyond IFK in added time before IFK scored with Stefan Selakovic. A disappointing end to a disappointing season for IFK who have pride to play for on Sunday while Orebro end their home campaign with a fine win.

Mjallby 2-1 Atvidabergs 1st November 2010

Mjallby's season has been fantastic and the club from the south have a duanting challenge on Sunday if they are to overtake Elfsborg and secure European football for 2011.
This however was a good result as they beat the other newly promoted club this year Atvidabergs. It was their struggling visitors though, who took the lead through Paulus Roiha after barely six minutes.
Mjallby took time to get going but did draw level on 64 minutes thanks to Adam Berner's finish before they secured the three points with Marcus Ekenberg's goal three minutes from time. Next up for Mjallby is title chasing Malmo which will be though. Atvidabergs' top flight status will be decided on Sunday where they must win.

AIK 2-0 Elfsborg 31st October 2010

AIK secured their Allsvenskan status with a third win in succesion as they ended the possibility of relegation just a year after they secured the double. Mohamed Bangura who in the last five months has been possibly the signing of the season put AIK in front on 50 minutes. Elfsborg who have European football on their minds went 2-0 down on 75 minutes as Viktor Lundberg secured the win and AIK's place in the league next season.
Elfsborg will qualify for the Europa League if they win on sunday no matter what Mjallby manage if anything against Malmo.

Halmstads 2-4 Helsingborgs 31st October 2010

Helsingborgs ensured they were not to fall in the penultimate hurdle as they ousted Halmstads 4-2 at the Orjans Vall. Within a minute Jonsson grabbed a brace as he put Helsingborgs 4-0 to the good and secured the three points.
Halmstads did muster two goals with the first coming on 83 minutes through Anselmo. Anselmo who hasn't quiet managed to repeat his scoring feats this year got his 2nd of the night with two minutes remaining to make it 4-2 with a thunderous volley. Halmstads need to win on Sunday to confirm their stay in the league.

Kalmar 1-3 BK Hacken 31st October 2010

Kalmar's hopes of reaching Europe are over after they slumped to a 3-1 defeat at home to BK Hacken. BK Hacken whose season has been one of what might have been are ending strongly.
Johan Bertilson put the hosts ahead as they chased the victory that would've kept alive their Europa League hopes but BK Hacken were level on 33 minutes as Ludwig Ohman put through his own net.
The game was open for who wanted to win and the next goal arrived on 71 minutes when Mathias Ranégie pounced to put BK Hacken in front. Ranégie who has disappeared from scoring for a little while got his 2nd nine minutes later as he extinguished the chance of Kalmar winning and their Europa League hopes.
BK Hacken secure their Allsvenskan status with this win.

Gefle 2-2 Djurgarden 31st October 2010

Gefle's future in the Allsvenskan is hanging by a thread after they were held to a draw by Djurgarden. In fact it was Gefle who had to squeeze a draw. Christer Youssef put the visitors ahead after just seven minutes which resulted in a silence around the Stromvallen.

Jakob Orlov who has did himself proud this season pulled Gefle level on 54 minutes. The game was no there for Gefle to take and help their relegation fears. Instead it was Djurgarden who scored with Kennedy Igboananike scoring. Igboananike helping his side to secure Europe after his winner last week.

Prince Ikpe Ekong often scoring for Djurgarden scored the crucial equiliser for Gefle with an own goal which ends Djurgarden's hopes of reaching Europe while for Gefle their hopes of avoiding the drop are in the balance going into the final day on Sunday.
