Round 8 Review

Round 8 is done and dusted and it was a good round for Helsingborgs as they restored their five-point lead at the top. They recorded a narrow win away to Mjallby while 2nd placed Malmo were also victorious at home to Djurgarden to keep the pressure on.
Orebro went 2nd for 24 hours after they comprehensively overcame Halmstads 3-0 at the Behrn Arena while GAIS were minutes away from victory in a 2-2 draw with Kalmar.
AIK were held by BK Hacken at the Rasunda while IF Brommapojkarna made it two wins from two with a 2-1 success over Gefle.
The surprise of the round was Atvidabergs claiming their first win of the season at home to IFK Goteborg. IFK had been in good form but it was the bottom club who took all three points in a stunning performance.
