Trelleborgs 2-4 Malmo April 3rd 2011

Champions Malmo got off to an emphatic start as they overcame local rivals Trelleborgs 4-2. Malmo playing with confidence were 2-0 up within 25 minutes with goals from Wílton Figueiredo and the impressive Daniel Larsson. Trelleborgs were back in the game on the half hour though as Magnus Andersson bundled the ball from six yards. Malmo though kept pressing for the third goal and were awarded seven minutes into the second half when Daniel Larsson dispatched a penalty past Fredrik Persson. Showing the style of champions, Malmo made it 4-1 just four minutes later when Agon Mehmeti opened his accoutn for the season.
