AIK 1-0 Hammarby 28th May 2009

AIK responded after losing away to Gefle earlier in the week by getting a vital win over rivals Hammarby. The win keeps AIK 4th while the defeat leaves Hammarby just 2 points ahead of the Play-off place. A real battle this with local bragging rights at stake and unsurprisingly it took just one goal to win. Saihou Jagne scored what was the winner just before half-time. Hammarby bought Nathan Paulse on to look for goals but couldn't breach the AIK defense.
