IFK Göteborg defender Mattias Bjärsmyr has left the club to join Greek Super League side Panathinaikos. The defender who starred in the Swedish U-21s surge to the semi-finals of the UEFA U-21 championship last month will become the latest big name player to leave the league.
Mattias Bjärsmyr has been given the Number 16 shirt at the Greek giants who have also signed Djibril Cissé from Marseille as they look to stop Olympiakos' domination in the league.
