Sweden 3-3 England (england win on pens)

Sweden's dream ended on Friday night when they suffered an agonising penalty shoot-out defeat to Stuart Pearce's England side. Sweden showed alot of character by coming from 3-0 down.
Martin Crainie gave England the lead after just 50 seconds with a cracking finish. England pressed and made it 2-0 on 27 minutes when Nedum Onuoha pounced on a free ball in the area. But England went into the break 3-0 up when an unfortunate own goal from defende Matias Bjärsmyr went in.
Sweden to their credit came out fighting and pulled a goal back on 68 minutes with top-scorer Marcus Berg finding the net from 12 yards. Ola Toivonen made it 3-2 with a stunning free-kick on 75 minutes before Marcus Berg made it 7 goals in the tournament on 81 minutes with a volley from just outside the 6-yard area.
England had striker Frazier Campbell sent-off for a nasty challenge on Matias Bjärsmyr before Guillermo Molins of Malmö hit the post with his spot-kick.
