Halmstads 1-2 AIK 17th August 2009

Halmstads suffered another defeat as AIK returned to the top of the table with this win. Mikael Rosén gave the hosts a 10th minute lead with a fantastic shot into the top corner which was cancelled out by Iván Óbolo header just two minutes later. AIK are making a good effort this year than last with Ivan Óbolo getting more goals. Nine minutes before the interval it was 2-1 to the Stockholm visitors, Englishman Kenny Pavey finding the net from close range. The game was played during a down-pour which meant alot of water on the pitch which effected some chances afterwards. Anelsmo had a chance to level but the water on the pitch effected his balance. AIK held on to record a good win and move back to the summit while Halmstads move closer to the drop zone.
