Hammarby suffered defeat again after Elfsborg moved level on points at the top of the table. Stefan Ishizaki continued his fine run of form of late by opening the scoring on 18 minutes. Andreas Dahl levelled just three minutes later which had the home crowd excited. Anders Svensson gave Elfsborg the lead just three minutes before the interval.
It wasn't until five minutes from time that another goal was scored and it came in the shape of Stefan Ishizaki before Rafael Leandro pulled one back a minute later.
