Halmstads have sold former Finland U-21 captain Tim Sparv to Holland.FC Groningen have announced on their website that the highly-rated 22 year-old will join them on January 1st. Sparv joined Halmstads in 2007 in which he was sent-out on loan to Vaasan Palloseura (VPS) in Finland.
Sparv has been a regular this year and his contract is due to run-out in December.
FC Groningen said that Sparv, who has attracted alot of interest over the summer was one of their main-transfer targets this summer.
